USPIO Ltd is a technology company specializing in providing innovative solutions in the IT and software development industry.
We are looking for a proactive and experienced VoIP Engineer with strong DevOps knowledge to join our team.
The candidate should have extensive knowledge and experience with Asterisk, FreeSWITCH or similar solution to make a scalable, highly available and reliable configuration. This role involves creating, extending, and managing our VoIP solution in collaboration with developers, clients and other DevOps engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and manage a clustered multi-tenant VoIP infrastructure using Asterisk, FreeSWITCH or similar solution.
- Configure and optimize VoIP servers to ensure high availability and performance.
- Configure and manage CDR for billing systems.
- Automate deployment and management processes using DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ensure the security of VoIP systems, including setting up encryption and access control.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues within the VoIP infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and processes.
- Participate in the design and implementation of billing systems for clients.
- Communicate effectively with development teams to capture and implement their requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure development in alignment with development strategies and business plans.
- Select and implement the best solutions tailored to specific operational needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in VoIP technologies and administration of Asterisk, FreeSWITCH or similar solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of configuring and managing clustered systems based on Asterisk or FreeSWITCH or similar solutions.
- experience with billing (CDR collecting and processing)
- experience with scenarios (Contact Centers with support lines alignment, Call Centers with multi-carriers supports)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Zabbix or similar solutions)
- Understanding of network technologies and protocols (SIP, PJSIP, RTP, TCP/IP, WebRTC).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS), knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (at least B2), with the ability to read technical documentation
- Certifications in VoIP technologies and DevOps are plus.
